Ryan Gosling recalls taking different path for Ken look in 'Barbie'

Ryan Gosling looked back on his role as Ken in hit Barbie movie and the wild on-set experience that he stayed away from.

The Project Hail Mary star starred opposite to Margot Robbie, who played the role of stereotypical Barbie in the film.

In an interview with the BCC Radio 1 while promoting his new space movie, the Canadian actor admitted that he didn't shave his legs for the iconic role.

He said, "There was a shave room on Barbie that I never went in."

"Oh my god, you could hear the screaming down the hall," the Notebook star added, noting that his co-stars Simu Liu and Ncuti Gatwa went through that experience. "It was like a torture chamber. It was just like… howling!"

"I went the other way," he continued. "I just never went in the shave room. What a name! And the sounds that came out of it I’ll never unhear."

Despite, Gosling stayed away from crucial makeover, he won widespread acclaim for his performance in Greta Gerwig's movie.

He received nominations at the Golden Globes, Critics’ Choice Awards, Baftas, Screen Actors Guild Awards and Best Supporting Actor category at the Oscars.

As of now Gosling is once again gracing the silver screen with his role in Project Hail Mary.
