Will Ferrell has recently revealed how he taught his kids about earning money in a new interview.
The Elf star shared that he never wanted his kids to grow up “entitled” during an appearance on March 24 episode of the Harland High Podcast.
“Whenever we take a family trip, I’ll sit in first-class, and my kids will sit not only in coach but a different airline…not even on the same flight,” said the 58-year-old.
The Blades of Glory actor explained that his children “only get to fly red-eye with as many layovers as possible”.
“I’m trying to teach the value of a buck,” remarked Will.
Elsewhere in the interview, the Old School actor also shared another parenting rule in his household.
“They have got to… like food and clothing. They’ve got to earn it,” explained Will.
The Despicable Me actor added, “They have just got to figure it out. It’s part of life. Figure it out, I had to!”
For those unversed, Will shares three sons with wife Viveca Paulin.
