Cillian Murphy has recently gushed over Taylor Swift as he shares his experience working in her new music video.
The Peaky Blinders star made a cameo appearance in the video of the singer’s new song, Opalite, which is from her 12th studio album, The Life of a Showgirl.
While speaking to Access Hollywood, Cillian admitted that it was “great experience” to work with Taylor for a short period of time.
The Irish actor praised the songstress for producing such “a sweet, hopeful piece of work”.
Interestingly, Cillian declared that the “world needs stuff” like Taylor’s Opalite.
Elsewhere in the interview, the Oppenheimer actor also lauded his old co-star Domhnall Gleeson for leading the video alongside Taylor.
“Taylor and Domhnall are just gorgeous together,” stated the 49-year-old actor.
Cillian noted that only Cruel Summer singer could gather everybody in one video.
For those unversed, Taylor revealed on The Graham Norton Show that the 28 Days Later actor, Greta Lee, Jodie Turner-Smith, and Domhnall would appear in the music video for Opalite.
It is pertinent to mention that Cillian was considered as the spokesperson and ad voiceover in the credits.
Earlier, speaking to Entertainment Tonight on the red carpet for the Peaky Blinders movie, The Immortal Man, the actor called the experience “amazing”.
“We were all on the sofa together on The Graham Norton Show, and then she reached out,” recalled the Inception actor.
Cillian added, “It’s good. It’s a really sweet, lovely song and video, so I was happy to be involved.”
