RM named ugliest member of BTS by fan ahead of Arirang tour

Namjoon, who is professionally called RM (Rap Master), was called out by a stan as the band proceeds to kickstart their upcoming ARIRANG tour.

As the 31-year-old is the leader of the boy band, a stan Twitter (now X) made a shocking statement about the musician.

Before bidding farewell, @athenamount turned to the platform and penned down: “I’m officially quitting stan twitter but let me say this one last time.”

The update raised eyebrows which claimed that “Namjoon is the ugliest member of BTS.”

Fans started a thread, defending their favourite K-Pop idol while haters continue to drag the Butter hitmaker for his looks.

One of the X users slammed the author, writing: “Even grade schoolers understand beauty is subjective,” while another was of the opinion: “Normal people would not say this.”

A critic nodded with the remark, stating: “No visual no talent… I don’t know why he is an idol.” Similarly, someone wrote that RM “looks like sleep paralysis demon.”

Is BTS Arirang successful?

The debate sparked after BTS released their much-anticipated album ARIRANG on March 20, 2026. The studio record debuted at “No.1” for the seventh time on the Billboard 200 albums charts.

It made the history by becoming the fastest-selling album as it sold 1 million copies within 10 minutes and 3.98 million copies within 24 hours of launch.
