Robyn opens up about ‘hardcore’ IVF journey

Robyn has opened up about her deeply personal IVF journey, describing the experience as both “hardcore” and transformative as she embraced single motherhood in her 40s.

The singer, best known for hits like Dancing On My Own, revealed that her decision came after a breakup in 2020, when she chose to pursue motherhood independently rather than wait for the “right” relationship. 

According to Daily Mail, Robyn had previously frozen her eggs but was forced to restart the process during the COVID-19 pandemic due to access issues.

Speaking candidly, she described IVF as a physically and emotionally demanding process, involving multiple rounds of treatment and uncertainty. 

Despite the challenges, she acknowledged it as a privilege, noting that not everyone has access to such options.

Moreover, Robyn also admitted that letting go of the idea of raising a child in a traditional relationship was difficult. 

However, she ultimately chose to move forward alone, later welcoming her son and stepping into a new phase of life as a single parent.
