Kate Winslet’s comments against the weight loss medication, Ozempic, got resurfaced after the ongoing buzz.
The English actress is widely known for her famous character, Rose in Titanic, as she has revealed she faced a lot of pressure after the movie.
The iconic movie starred Kate and Leonardo DiCaprio as the main leads, while she disclosed that due to her weight now, she is always cast as the “fat girl.”
The 50-year-old stated in an interview with The New York Times in October 2024, that the medication sound terrible.
She added that the buzz is caused because of the “unhealthy obsession with perfection” and it was “frightening” how many women, including think their self-worth depends on their looks.
This comes after the online community got shocked after seeing Kelly Osbourne or other actresses, who claim that their sudden weight loss is just because of their diet or gym.
The Holiday star has always promoted self-care and how one’s worth doesn’t depend on their weight, and encouraged others to spread body positivity.
Kate has always shared her point of view that it should be “embrace your body” and not “lose weight and get skinny.”
