Lola Young spills the tea about ‘drug recovery’ phase after stage fall

Lola Young has recently spilled the tea about her drug recovery phase months after collapsing on stage.

The English musician revealed she checked into a holistic treatment facility to deal with her drug addiction following the incident that happened in September 2025.

Reflecting on her break from the spotlight, Lola told The Sunday Times Style Magazine that she went to the holistic facility because it focused on mental health and drug addiction.

However, the Messy hit-maker mentioned that her “recovery” has been an “ongoing process,” and now she’s doing “a hell of a lot better”.

“What I can tell you is that I was being looked after,” said the 25-year-old.

Elsewhere in the interview, Lola opened up that she suffered “similar demons” while recording her album, I’m Only Myself back in 2024.

“There were a lot of things going on for me personally — I was going through a lot of mental health issues, a lot of battling with addiction,” explained the Conceited singer.

Lola went on saying that when “you are in recovery… that doesn't necessarily need to mean drugs but me specifically, yes”.

Meanwhile, the songstress added that it was a turning point for her because this incident enabled her to recover herself.
