Matthew Lillard speaks about consequences for calling Jacob Elordi 'Delicious'

Mathew Lillard, who recently praised the Frankenstein star, Jacob Elordi, for his physique and how he carried himself, revealed the consequences that came after.

In a recent interview, the American director confessed that the potential future James Bond is “delicious” and looks amazing.

Now, speaking with Danny Pellegrino during PEOPLE's exclusive coverage of the Elton John AIDS Foundation's 34th Academy Awards Viewing Party, when asked who he would pick for the PEOPLE’s Sexiest Man Alive in 2026, he has once again showed his admiration for Jacob.

He stated, “So, Jacob Elordi is, like …” with the interviewer completing his sentence, “sculpture?”

Mathew agreed and disclosed, “I'm not allowed to say [anything] anymore, I was calling him delicious in public, and my wife's like, ‘You can't say that. You're married to me for 26 years.’”

The statement followed a compliment for the Oscar nominee as Mathew has joined the fandom for a lifetime, “But Jacob Elordi's legit a really handsome man,”

For the unversed, the Scream 7 star has been married to Heather Helm for 26 years now as they are parents to three children, two daughters and one son, Addison, Macey, and Liam.
