David Gandy, ex-model of Dolce & Gabbana has voiced his opinion regarding extinction at the hands of artificial intelligence.

The 42-year-old told the Man Made podcast by Pete Wicks that the modelling industry in its current form is heading towards its end.

Notably, while thinking about his two daughters the star claimed that there may not be a business left in its present state.

"By the time my kids could be into modelling at 18 I don't think it's the industry that's going to exist."

Moreover, he said, "I think it would just be all AI generated. I really really do because it's based on economics and marketing how can we save costs? And AI saves costs."

The model was very open regarding male mental health as he revealed that he has been through dark moments despite his successful career.

"You're making money, on billboards or doing everything else, but you have moments that affect you," he said.

He went on to explain, "I wanted people to realize that we can all be going through it."

Gandy also took the issue of male menopause and testosterone decline, saying that it is not researched adequately.

"We don't know where the safe level for it should be because there is no actual proper research," he declared.

"Then people are increasing their testosterone and when you come off it your body has stopped making its own, so you can go into a deep depression about it," he concluded.
