Andy Cohen has hit back at Sarah Michelle Gellar after she described the latest season of The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills as “boring,” sparking a public exchange that has since gone viral.
Gellar made the comment during a recent radio interview, where she admitted she was not enjoying the show’s current season, calling it “slow” while noting it was only “just picking up.”
Despite the criticism, she did praise parts of the cast and expressed interest in potential spin-offs.
Cohen, who serves as executive producer and host within the Real Housewives franchise, addressed the remarks on his SiriusXM show, making it clear he was not pleased.
However, his frustration appeared to stem less from the criticism itself and more from the context in which it was delivered.
Reacting to the interview being recorded in his own studio space, Cohen said he found it inappropriate for a guest to criticise his show in that setting.
According to Daily Mail, he also took issue with how the clip was later shared online, prominently featuring branding associated with him.
While dismissing Gellar’s opinion, Cohen bluntly stated that she was “wrong,” adding fuel to the ongoing debate.
