Kim Kardashian has been very passionate about her law journey, both on-screen and off-screen and the reality star has decided to take a major step for women embroiled in legal issues.
The Keeping Up with the Kardashians alum took to social media to announce that she would be putting up her wardrobe from the Ryan Murphy drama All’s Fair up for sale, and donating the revenue for a charitable cause.
In the statement, she wrote, “In All’s Fair, I play a lawyer who sees firsthand how the legal system can either empower women or leave them behind. But in the real world, the "price of justice" is a barrier that many women simply cannot afford.”
“This Friday, March 27, I’m auctioning off my Season 1 wardrobe from All’s Fair to help close that gap. 100% of net sales will go directly to the Legal Aid Foundation of Los Angeles to fund their free legal services for women who are fighting for their safety, their children, and their futures,” she added.
Kim added that the right to have legal representation should not be dependent on the amount of money a person has.
The Skims founder highlighted how important legal aid is for women and noted the importance of supporting survivors in the court of law
