Country musician Ella Langley is over the moon after she recently broke Taylor Swift’s record on Billboard Hot 100.
The rising country star’s song Choosin’ Texas spent a fourth week at No. 1 on the Billboard Hot 100, setting a new benchmark for female musical artists that crossed Hot Country Songs chart to the all-genre Hot 100.
According to Billboard data, Ella beat Taylor’s old record as her song, We Are Never Ever Getting Back Together spent three weeks at No. 1 back in 2012.
Interestingly, the country musician’s another track Be Her stayed at No. 2 giving her the top two spots on Billboard chart for several weeks.
Some music industry noted that musicians like Taylor and Beyonce previously achieved same feats but Ella’s consistency was noteworthy.
Besides the country musician, Olivia Dean reportedly entered the top 10 with So Easy (To Fall in Love) song, marking another achievement in her music career.
Meanwhile, Bruno Mars’ I Just Might kept at No. 2 after three nonconsecutive weeks on the Hot 100 chart.
