Rock legend Alice Cooper and his wife Sheryl have marked a monumental milestone, their 50th wedding anniversary.
The couple renewed their vows at the opulent Wrigley Mansion in Phoenix, Arizona, on Saturday, surrounded by 220 of their closest family and friends.
In a heartwarming twist, Sheryl’s 92-year-old father, William Goddard, officiated the ceremony, just as he had back in 1976 when the pair first tied the knot.
Guests looked on as Alice, 78, and Sheryl, 69, exchanged bespoke rings crafted by friend Jimmy Chase.
Designed to suit their unique lifestyles, from Alice’s love of golf and constant microphone in hand to Sheryl’s dancer’s grace, the 18k gold rings were set with cabochon-cut rubies and brilliant-cut diamonds.
The celebration was a picture of romance, at one point, Poison singer dipped Sheryl in a dramatic move and kissed her passionately.
Alice, whose real name is Vincent Furnier, has long been open about the secret to their enduring marriage.
He told Classic Rock magazine that he and his wife have a “perfect” union, built on shared showbiz passion.
Sheryl, a former Joffrey Ballet dancer and Goldie Hawn’s stunt double, still performs alongside Alice, sharing dressing room laughs and life on the road.
