Miley Cyrus addressed rumours surrounding her about headlining the 2027 Super Bowl halftime show.
Following Bad Bunny’s historic halftime performance, betting sites began looking ahead to which artist might take the stage for Super Bowl LXI.
Various artist was suggested, such as Taylor Swift, Cardi B, Drake, Justin Bieber, but Cyrus' name stood out among the bunch, a fact that hasn't escaped her.
The Grammy winner in conversation with Variety said, "I always think the Super Bowl feels like too much pressure."
She explains that for performing there she would need to mentally shift her focus away from the SuperBowl, since thinking about it in those terms would inevitably highlight its massive audience and global scale.
Referencing her recent concert to mark the 20th anniversary of Hannah Montana, "But if I could find a way to make it exactly what the Hannahversary was — taking a journey through the discography and appreciating each song, each era for what it is — I think I could find it in myself."
A Super Bowl halftime show performance from Cyrus would be significant for another reason, as over the past few years, fans haven't had many opportunities to see the Flowers singer perform live.
Cyrus will be back on stage in the Hannah Montana 20th Anniversary Special set to arrive on Disney+ on March 24.
