Christian Bale sandworm joke takes off after 'Dune: Part Three' trailer

In a viral meme, Christian Bale has been jokingly associated with Dune for 

The joke he has been subjected to since 2019 as the Oscar winner has already undergone radical body transformations.

Although there was a buzz, created by fake teasers and a Reddit thread which jested that he gained 450,000 pounds to play the role of a sandworm.

It is pertinent to mention that this is all purported as Bale has never been involved in Dune officially.

As the trailer of the Dune: Part Three released, some of the admirers got active as they are unable to cease fantasizing the American Psycho to portray the role.

Below the preview of the Sci-fi/Adventure, one netizen penned, "Christian Bale cast as the sand worm, that dude is so versatile fr."

Another compared him with his co-star in Dune, and wrote, "Robert Pattinson is tryna go band for band with Christian Bale on body transformations lol."

A third fan was more serious, writing, "Idk what yall joking but if theres someone that could do it, it's your boy Bale."

The speculation ain't random as The Machinist, Batman Begins, and Vice are some of the transformative resumes that Bale went through by shedding 120 pounds and putting on 100 pounds and 40 pounds respectively. 

In his coming movie The Bride!, he used the assistance of prosthetics, not to mention his daily screaming sessions to get through the makeup chair.

Dune: Part Three is an adaptation of the Dune Messiah by Frank Herbert that will be released in theatres in December 2026.
