Rebel Wilson has finally slammed The Deb producers and billionaire Sir Len Blavatnik in her social media tirade amid ongoing legal battle.
The Pitch Perfect actress takes to Instagram on March 17 and shares multiple posts in which she calls out producers of The Deb movie and even emails she sent it to Len on her IG Stories.
“Regarding the lawsuits and drama associated with my film THE DEB – my passion project, directing debut, a beautiful movie about a girl wanting to be pretty and realising she’s PRETTY STRONG in character – well there’s a lot to say!” wrote the 46-year-old in her first post.
Later, the Senior Year actress went on saying, “I was going to wait to take the stand,” but the “absolute bombardment” on her “via heavily paid crisis PR firms recently has taken its toll and it’s impossible to say nothing”.
Rebel points out that the “story no one is writing” is that The Deb and the producers she has complained about—like Amanda Ghost, Gregor Cameron, and Vince Holden—are all “funded by billionaire USSR born oligarch Sir Len Blavatnik”.
The Australian actress then shares an email that she sent to Len requesting him to stop the producers’ alleged behaviour and gave two options: either remove them or let her buy out the movie.
Rebel mentions she “flew to New York to his private residence to tell him face to face the struggles” she’s had with the people working for Len.
Interestingly, the actress also points out that Len was named in the Epstein files, as she added screen shots of the email.
In the end, Rebel calls herself “a true rebel” adding, “Len, never too late to do the right thing and take action against the people who behaved inappropriately- maybe stop funding them for a start?
“I am PRETTY STRONG and when push comes to shove, I’m going to get on the stand and tell it like it is,” she concluded.
