Chris Pratt’s kids banned from movies: here's why

Chris Pratt has revealed a surprising rule in his household.

The 46-year-old actor, shares daughters Lyla, five, Eloise, three, and baby Ford with wife Katherine Schwarzenegger, and says the couple are keeping screens firmly off-limits for now.

Speaking in a candid chat, he admitted the trio have “never seen movies”, thanks to Katherine’s refreshingly old-school parenting style.

“She’s very old-school when it comes to screens and technology,” he explained. 

“So, we’re waiting.”

Despite being one of Hollywood’s biggest stars, it seems his little ones have no idea just how famous their dad really is, at least for now.

But Guardians of the Galaxy star is convinced that day will come. 

“There’s gonna be a season where they realise their dad is really cool,” he joked. 

“They haven’t realised it yet, but one day.”

However, his eldest son Jack, 13, whom he shares with ex-wife Anna Faris, has already had a taste of his dad’s blockbuster world, attending a screening of Super Mario Bros. with him. 

And thankfully, Jurassic World actor quipped, “Jack likes me, though.”

Beyond parenting, Chris also opened up about his strong marriage to 36-year-old author, whom he wed in 2019. 

The couple took their commitment seriously from the start, undergoing premarital counselling before tying the knot.
