Zendaya reflects on 'Dune' journey ahead of part three release

Zendaya has revealed her heartfelt attachment to the Dune series.

Speaking during a moderated conversation at the trailer launch event, the actress shared her excitement while looking back at her journey with the trilogy.

As per PEOPLE, she mentioned during a conversation on the new trailer, "I'm so excited. I mean, this movie, or these movies, have meant so much to me over the years."

"I've literally been able to grow up in my entire 20s doing them,” she said, adding that the movies “have such a special place in my heart and all these people do as well."

Moreover, the Emmy-winning star commented, "So I'm very excited, very grateful to be a part of it."

The Dune films, led by Timothée Chalamet as Paul Atreides, displayed a young leader working through struggles on Arrakis.

The third installment of the sci-fi will move the story ahead, with Chani between Paul (portrayed by Timothée) and Princess Irulan (played by Florence Pugh) as the story also follows the next generation.

The upcoming science fiction film Dune: Part Three will hit cinemas on Friday, December 18.
