Jesy Nelson praises ‘superhuman’ mothers in emotional mother’s day message

Jesy Nelson marked Mother’s Day with a touching tribute to mothers, describing them as “superhuman” and thanking them for their strength and dedication.

The 34-year-old singer took to social media to share a heartfelt message celebrating mothers around the world. In the post, Nelson praised what she called the “amazing” and “superhuman” efforts of mums who dedicate themselves to raising and caring for their children. 

She also acknowledged that the day can be emotional for many people, sending love to those who may find Mother’s Day difficult.

According to Daily Mail, Nelson’s message comes after a challenging yet transformative period in her own life. 

Moreover, the singer became a mother in 2025 when she welcomed twin daughters, Ocean Jade and Story Monroe, following a high-risk pregnancy with her then-partner, rapper Zion Foster. 

The babies were born prematurely at 31 weeks after Nelson experienced complications linked to twin-to-twin transfusion syndrome.

Since becoming a mother, Nelson has spoken openly about how the experience has changed her perspective and strengthened her appreciation for the sacrifices parents make. 

The former pop star has often praised mothers for their resilience and the emotional and physical strength required to raise children.
