Jessie Buckley has recently made honest admission ahead of the 2026 Oscars, which is going to be held tomorrow on March 15.
The Irish actress is said to be the potential contender to win this year’s Academy Award for her performance in Hamnet.
Speaking to The Mirror, Jessie notes that winning an Oscar is way beyond her expectations.

The actress mentions, “This is beyond my wildest expectations.”
Elsewhere in the interview, Jessie also opens up about her experience with Timothee Chalamet and Emma Stone at the Oscars luncheon where they all posed for “a class photo” together.
Jessie, who won BAFTA, Golden Globes, Screen Actors Guild and the Critics’ Choice Awards this year, believes that it’s “all hard to take in”.
“I think probably when I'm 80, I'll have a really good answer,” quips The Lost Daughter actress.
Jessie admits that she’s “scared” and thinking second choices in her life, like “changing her six-month-old baby’s nappy” instead of attending the Oscar nominee luncheon.
The Bride! actress also opens up about her “insane and cute” class photograph with fellow nominees and starry guests.
“I watching everybody get up and you've got, like Guillermo del Toro, Rose Bryne, Timothée, Emma and I am like, ‘God, I cannot take this for granted this moment,” adds Jessie.
