Barry Keoghan and Rebecca Ferguson recalled their experience on set of Peaky Blinders as newcomers.

Keoghan starred as Erasmus 'Duke' Shelby, the estranged son of Tommy Shelby (Cillian Murphy). Meanwhile, Rebecca Ferguson plays a mysterious woman, Kaulo, connected to Tommy Shelby past.

In an interview with the Access Hollywood, the co-stars sat down she their experience.

"It was amazing," Ferguson said, acknowledging the pressure of the show's massive following. "You start thinking about it, it gets overwhelming."

Keoghan agreed, describing the experience as "nerve-wracking" since he had long been a fan of the series.

He shared that he did not watched the previous seasons to get in the role, since he wanted to "be deliberate and bold and sort of go in and do my take on it."

They also lauded Murphy highlighting his professionalism and presence on set.

The duo also shared if there was any Peaky Blinders initiation for newcomers.

"It was wet. It hurt. And it took five hours — but we can’t tell you what it was," Ferguson quipped, before clarifying that the real initiation was simply stepping onto set.

In addition to Keoghan and Ferguson, Tim Roth and Jay Lycurgo are also new additions. Meanwhile, apart from Murphy, some familiar faces include, Sophie Rundle, Ned Dennehy, Packy Lee, Ian Peck, and Stephen Graham.

Peaky Blinders: The Immortal Man will release on March 6 in cinema be available on Netflix from 20 March.
