David Anthony Burke, whose stage name is d4vd, was revealed to be a "target" of the investigation being conducted by grand jury.
After a dismembered body was discovered from the singer’s Tesla, the rapper has been under strict observation and is being called a prime suspect of the case.
However, latest details were revealed by his friend Neo who has supposedly distanced himself from the alleged murderer.
Neo turned to his Instagram's close story, announcing that he is “legally fine in every way,” admitting he has “receipts for things.”
In the second part of the update, the 20-year-old’s friend noted that the worst part is him telling his side of the story to people he trusted and “thought knew me.”
The streamer insisted that they threw it “out the [redacted] window as soon as I get arrested.”
Shockingly, Neo called d4vd a “d**khead” revealing that he “wasn’t even charged.”
Towards the end of the update, the 23-year-old shared an eyebrow-raising detail about the case: “There is more to the story then what’s on the news.”
This came after the streamer did not appear before court after being named as a witness in the gruesome murder case, leading to his arrest.
Months before the dead body of the 14-year-old was discovered, it was revealed that the accused rapper took a mysterious drive to Santa Barbara in 2025, as reported by a source.
The outlet further shared that the Here With Me singer was not alone on the drive.
