Ed Sheeran shares new update about his wife’s cancer journey

Ed Sheeran has recently shared major update about his wife Cherry Seaborn’s health amid her cancer journey.

The Shape crooner made an appearance on latest episode of the Friends Keep Secrets podcast with Benny Blanco, Lil Dicky and Kristin Batalucco where he revealed the best and worst days of his life.

Speaking of his best days, Ed said that it was his marriage to Cherry in 2019 and the worst was when his wife called him and revealed that she had cancer.

“The day Cherry rung me up and said that she had cancer, that was probably one of the worst days,” recalled the Perfect hit-maker.

The singer told the hosts that was “probably the worst week because Jamal died that week as well and then we went straight into the court case. And then Shane died”.

When asked how his wife is doing now, Ed opened up that she’s on the other side of recovery after surgery and their second daughter Jupiter’s birth.

“Cherry is fine, she had the operation,” said the 35-year-old.

Ed mentioned that his wife was pregnant at the time, adding, “That's why it was difficult”.

“She had the operation to remove the tumour after the birth of our second child. And thankfully — touch wood — totally fine."

“It was scary,” he concluded.
