New Kids On The Block star Joey McIntyre has reached a significant point.

On Wednesday, the 53-year-old singer posted an emotional Instagram video marking two years sober.

"When I say sober, I'd say it's been two years since I had a Manhattan on the rocks, or a vodka soda."

The veteran star celebrated, "Two years sober today. Two years sober, two years sober," he said in the video.

The American actor continued, "Can you believe it? Two years. It's possible, folks," adding, "If you're thinking, 'Hmm, I could never do that. It won't be fun."

McIntyre had one thing to say to those assuming he would never laugh again, "it's not true. Is my life perfect? No! Is it better? Yes!

Happy two years. All right. Love you," the Step By Step crooner concluded.

The father of three explained his journey in the caption, "#Sober #goodtimes (been clean and sober for two years - save a hit on a vape pen about a year and a half ago. I honor both dates cuz they are both important to me).(sic)"

Fellow musicians had come to support, AJ McLean of Backstreet boys, who had his own sobriety issues congratulated.

He commented, "Welcome to the club, my friend. It’s the best club to be a part of and I’m extremely proud of you. Keep it up buddy one day at a time."

Moldy Peaches singer Kimya Dawson brought in some light to the matter as she penned, "27 years off the sauce for me and the first two were two of the longest hardest years of my life. Getting through two is huge. Congrats. Keep it up!"

McIntyre is now playing with vocal group New Kids On The Block, during their Park MGM Las Vegas residence.
