Ellie Goulding stuns fans with baby daughter’s name

Ellie Goulding has officially introduced the world to her newborn daughter, and the little one has a name just as beautiful as her famous mum.

The 38-year-old singer revealed this week that she and boyfriend Beau Minniear welcomed a baby girl last Friday.

Now, a formal birth notice in The Times has confirmed the tiny tot’s full name, Iris Edaline Minniear-Goulding.

Notably, the sweet announcement appeared in the newspaper’s Births, Marriages and Deaths column and read simply: “MINNIEAR-GOULDING on 6th March 2026 to Ellie Goulding and Beau Minniear, a daughter, Iris Edaline.”

The proud mum had already shared the happy news with fans on Instagram in a heartfelt post before the traditional notice.

The Starry Eyed singer gushed that she had given birth to a “beautiful healthy baby girl” and admitted the family are already completely smitten.

“It was fitting that I spent International Women’s Day with her and the incredible female team at St Mary’s,” the singer wrote.

She praised the midwives who cared for her and her daughter. “I will always be in awe of midwives.”

The chart-topping star, best known for hits like Love Me Like You Do also revealed that her four-year-old son Arthur, whom she shares with ex-husband Caspar Jopling, is thrilled about his new role as big brother.

According to insiders, Ellie and Beau are now happily tucked away in a cosy “baby bubble”. 

For the unversed, the songstress first revealed she was expecting in December when she debuted her baby bump at the The Fashion Awards in London.
