Charles Melton officially a daddy, fans flood Instagram with love

Charles Melton has officially stepped into fatherhood. 

The 26-year-old actor and his partner, director and photographer Camille Summers-Valli, treated fans to a heartwarming Instagram post on Monday, giving a first peek at their newborn.

The carousel featured tender family moments: the couple bonding with their little one, throwback shots of Camille during her pregnancy, and intimate private moments with the baby. 

The Riverdale star captioned it simply: “Our family.” 

The tiny tot’s face remains covered, and the pair have kept both the name and exact birth date under wraps.

The post quickly drew messages from celebrity friends and fans alike. Lili Reinhart, 29, who played Betty Cooper alongside Charles, wrote: “Angels.” 

Sirens actress Julianne Moore added: “Beautiful family,” while Kit Connor from Heartstopper gushed: “Love all of you.” 

One fan commented: “Oooo my goodness, sweet blessing! Congratulations @melton you are going to be the best daddy!!!!”

For the unversed, Charles and Camille went public with their romance in January and shared news of her pregnancy soon after. 

He posted a series of images showing off her baby bump, including a shot of Charles planting a kiss on her belly, captioned: “making a lil family.”

Before Camille, Charles dated Riverdale co-star Camila Mendes, 31. 

The on-off couple split before the show’s final 2023 season. 

Camila later admitted it was “awkward at first” working together post-breakup, but said the last season “went super smoothly” and felt “different” professionally.
