South-Korean idol Heeseung’s exit confirmed by HYBE Label’s BELIFT LAB
Heeseung, whose official name is Lee Heeseung, bid farewell to the boy band ENHYPEN despite being a “key member” of the group.
The 24-year-old’s exit was confirmed in a statement (originally in Korean language) issued by HYBE Label’s BELIFT LAB, declaring the end to his journey as a member.
After “in-depth conversations about each member’s vision for future,” the company finalised that the musician will be “leaving” the team.
However, the group will continue to work as a “6-member group starting from official schedules” as the artist has decided to continue solo.
The company revealed that the Heeseung will be releasing a “solo album” while remaining “under BELIFT LAB.”
In the statement, the company acknowledged their fans’ feelings, asking for “generous understanding.”
They insisted that the decision is for the “future of both ENHYPEN and Heeseung.”
The move shocked the fandom with one X user admitting: “I don’t think ENGENEs were ready to hear this today,” speculating that the account might have been hacked.
Another netizen was of the opinion that they already has this “feeling that something was gonna go down… I knew it.”

A third fan attempted to come up with an explanation on their own, writing: “Wait wait maybe he’s coming to the military service?,” while another fan gushed: “THIS ACC BETTER BE HACKED RN.”
So far, the reports have confirmed that the Bite Me singer has ended his journey as a group member. The announcement from the accounts seems to be real.
