Kelly Osbourne has shared a heart-warming moment with her young son after hitting back at “cruel” online trolls who criticised her appearance after this year’s Brit Awards.

The 41-year-old TV personality took to Instagram this week with an uplifting video featuring her three-year-old son Sidney, whom she shares with partner Sid Wilson.

In the sweet clip, Kelly sits on a bed beside the toddler as the pair exchange cheerful “good morning” greetings.

Smiling warmly at the camera, she encourages her son to say “I love you” before telling followers: “We love you guys, good morning, good morning, good morning.”

Sidney happily repeats the message while Kelly beams and tells him: “You’re the best, Sidney.”

Notably, the touching post arrived just days after she attended the star-studded ceremony in Manchester, where she bravely stepped on stage to accept a posthumous Lifetime Achievement Award on behalf of her legendary father, Ozzy Osbourne.

For the unversed, the rock icon died last July aged 76.

However, what should have been a proud and emotional tribute quickly turned sour online, with some social media users making harsh remarks about Kelly’s appearance.

In a candid response, the grieving star called out the “special kind of cruelty” shown by people who attacked her while she is mourning such a devastating loss.

She wrote that critics were “kicking me while I’m down” and turning her struggles into gossip, adding that she is currently going through “the hardest time of my life”.

Kelly insisted she should not have to defend herself but made it clear she would not allow anyone to “dehumanise” her.

Support quickly poured in, including from Mia Tyler, daughter of Steven Tyler, who fiercely defended Kelly online.

Mia reminded critics that “public grief is not public property” and urged people to choose kindness instead of cruelty.
