Jamie Lee Curtis has just delivered the bad news that fans were not expecting: The Bear is officially coming to an end with its fifth season.
The 67-year-old actress behind the disorganized Donna Berzatto on the FX hit came up with the bombshell during an interview with Access Hollywood.
FX and the creator, Christopher Storer, have not officially stated anything about it, but Curtis believes that it is already known.
She went on to declare, "Everybody's confirmed the show is ending!"
"I don't understand why that's such a, unless I'm going to get a call from all the people saying, 'You just told.'"
She continued, "I think everybody understood that it was the last season of the show. If it isn't then I've completely blown it."
The Freakier Friday star had already ignited talk last month, with a mysterious Instagram post in which she was celebrating her last scenes.
She also took a photo with the co-star, Abby Elliott, and wrote, "FINISHED STRONG! Surrounded by an extraordinary crew..."
She gave the nod, saying, "completing the story of this extraordinary family that we have all fallen in love with. Got to finish it out with my baby Berzatto bear."
The veteran star joined the cast of The Bear in season two, for her playing Donna was not a job, but destiny.
She even claimed that she knew she would get the role even before it was cast, labelling it as role of a lifetime.
The Bear season five has not been given any date, however, one thing is sure, Curtis is ready to tear his shirt one more time.
