David and Victoria Beckham surprised the world by publicly wishing their eldest son Brooklyn on his 27th birthday amid their explosive feud.
The star-studded duo each took to their Instagram to share images of the Cloud23 founder from when he was a toddler wishing him a happy birthday and adding that they love him alongside it in the caption.
In a conversation with The Mirror, the former footballer and the fashion designer’s friends opened up to the outlet about the message they were sending across with the move.
“They can rise above the attacks and see the bigger picture….which is that they will love their son no matter what. They love him unconditionally, and will always do. It’s not just David and Victoria being forced to reach out this way….his three aunts posted too,” the insider stated.
“It just goes to show that everyone wishes him the best, and everyone is prepared to draw a line under everything as they love and care for him so much,” the English pair’s pal added.
They also remarked that it was desperately sad that the parents’ only mode of communication was now social media.
Notably, Brooklyn has yet to acknowledge or even publicly talk about the wish, and could be seen celebrating his big day with wife Nicole Peltz who has also been estranged from the rest of the Beckhams clan alongside her husband.
