Lindsay Lohan has taken to social media from Dubai to reassure fans that she and her family are unharmed amid escalating military tensions in the Middle East.
The Mean Girls star, who has made the United Arab Emirates city her home, shared a brief but poignant message on her Instagram Stories saying, “Praying for peace. Stay safe everyone. God bless us all,” as Iranian missiles and drones struck targets across the region, including parts of the UAE.
Reports from entertainment outlets have confirmed Lohan, her husband Bader Shammas and their son Luai are safe in their Dubai residence despite explosions and air-defence activity heard across the city.
According to Daily Mail, the recent strikes were widely seen as retaliatory actions following joint military operations against Iran by U.S. and Israeli forces, which have heightened instability across the Gulf and prompted widespread travel disruptions.
Moreover, local authorities have reported both casualties and infrastructure damage, including fires at landmarks and impacts to aviation facilities as the region confronts one of its most serious security flashpoints in years.
Lohan has lived in Dubai since the mid-2010s, citing the city’s privacy and calm as key reasons for relocating from Hollywood.
As per the outlet, she and Shammas married in 2022 and welcomed their son in 2023. In previous interviews, she has described her life there as grounded and family-focused, in contrast to the intense spotlight of her earlier career.
