Tumblr acknowledges mistake after Halsey slams for being left out
American singer Halsey calls out Tumblr for leaving her out of milestone achievement
Halsey was known for being the “It" girl of her Tumblr era during the 2010s apart from her hit songs that defined the time for pop culture.
The 31-year-old singer made a comeback in the spotlight with her beau Avan Jogia.
However, she was left out by the platform for their milestone achievement, not making her the part of their 19th anniversary celebration.
She wrote on X (formerly Twitter): “I keep your lights on for years and this is the thanks I get?”
After the Without Me hitmaker called them out for their move, the platform issued an apology for Halsey writing: “We are deeply sorry you were not included in our 19th birthday edit.”
The post insisted that they would never “intentionally swerve you,” asking her forgiveness as they are “just 19.” Towards the end, Tumblr noted: “We promise this will never happen again.”
The account rectified their mistake by sharing another edit with a message: “Just realized we forgot to post half of our 19th bday edit @iamhalsey.”

The new video clip with the sing Colors featured the musician’s candid highlights from the era, celebrating her for being part of the outlet.
Halsey responded to the edit by commenting: “New Testament accurate Tumblr.”
