Katherine Schwarzenegger Pratt has candidly revealed her parenting philosophy to one central tenet she inherited from her famous parents.
The 36-year-old daughter of Arnold Schwarzenegger and Maria Shriver shared the key to be "unconditional love."
As part of an honest account of her upbringing, the American author opened up on how her parents handled her to become the woman she was in her life with husband Chris Pratt and three young children.
According to Katherine, the unconditional love is the best thing they have bequeathed to her since being a parent is all about loving them without conditions.
She made it clear that being supported in all the "phases of life" is the exact gift she is now going to give to her daughters, Lyla and Eloise, as well as to her little son, Ford.
"All of the things my parents did when I was little... I am really trying to implement or pass down to how I'm raising my kids," she marked.
Even after her parents, Arnold and Maria parted in 2011 leading to their divorce, the family has been exceptionally close.
Maria, 70, observed that they were both proud to hold on to a five decade long conversation, whereas Arnold, 78, asserts that their chapter did not, in fact, end.
There’s no reason for me to feel anything other than love for her," the former governor of California marked.
The Schwarzenegger-Shriver family has made a history of emotional sanity that Katherine is currently spinning into the third generation.
