Zach Braff, the American actor and filmmaker prior to his fame was still having to contend with real world problems.
For the unversed, the 50-year-old star was actually a table server before his upward success with the sitcom, Scrubs.
The Garden State artist, who has gained popularity for his portrayal of Dr John as J.D., has now come forward to talk of how unforeseen was the life-changing aspect.
During his employment in a restaurant, he was attending to customers who were complaining about a very basic issue like bread.
While speaking to Variety, he marked, “I wore a beige tunic and served French Vietnamese food and was often yelled at that we didn’t serve bread."
Moreover, he explained, "so I was lucky enough to audition six times and get this show and it changed my life."
His co-star Donald Faison, who portrayed Turk, also had an equally nervous recollection when he got cast, calling him "the hottest pilot of that season."
“I remember being in a restaurant when my agent called me and told me I got it,” the comedian added.
In the meantime, Sarah Chalke said she immediately loved the script, "I remember opening the envelope and being like, ‘Oh no, oh no, this is the best thing I’ve ever read, and my audition’s in nine hours'.”
She gave glorifying remarks about her creator, Bill Lawrence and said that winning the job was life changing.
As the revival has begun, original stars, including Judy Reyes and John C. McGinley, have also returned.
The comeback is particularly significant to the cast members who waited, hoped, and fought to have their big break.
