House of Guinness cast weighed in on the much awaited season 2 and if it is happening any time soon.

The series was created by Peaky Blinders writer, Stephen Knight.

During their appearance at the IFTAs red carpet, Jack Gleeson, Fionn O'Shea, Danielle Galligan and Seamus O'Hara opened up about if season 2 is coming any time soon.

The Game of Thrones star told the VIP, "I wish we knew something. Everyone is heavily invested. Just if the stars align! But sadly, we don’t have any insider information."

O'Shea, who plays Benjamin Guinness added, "All we can say is that we would love to do it."

Galligan also echoed the sentiment saying that inside crew tell the cast nothing about the future of series, however admitted that her character Lady Olivia "is only getting started."

Meanwhile O'Hara, who played Patrick Cochrane, also hoped for the show to return, sharing that he knows nothing of it.

House of Guinness explores the aftermath of 1868 death of Sir Benjamin Guinness.

The story follows four adult children, Arthur (Anthony Boyle), Edward (Louis Partridge), Anne (Emily Fairn) and Ben (O’Hara), as they fight for the control the massive brewing empire amidst power struggle, betrayal and greed in Dublin and New York.
