Tim Howard demands apology from 'Love Is Blind' comment

Tim Howard, a former soccer star in the US has finally voiced against being referred draft pick, Alex Henderson during Love Is Blind.

For the unversed, on Season 10 of the popular Netflix reality dating show features contestants from Ohio called Howard as a "weirdo."

The 31-year-old financial sales professional was named Alec Ferrell by his step father which he changed back to his birth name and was a former Wake Forest goalkeeper.

He marked the words during a chat with fellow competitor Ashley Carpenter, whom he proposed to later.

On questioning Henderson whether he had ever seen Howard, he said, “He’s American. I met him already. He’s a weirdo,” and also dismissed David Beckham as “not even good.”

The 46-year-old responded to the comment on the February 24th episode of the Netflix Unfiltered Soccer with Tim Howard and Landon Donovan. 

While addressing Howard began to mark, “Here's what I would say: I know you're a fan, and I have this on good authority.”

Continuing, “So all I'll say is, we can make everything right with the world, and you just issue a public apology on whatever platform you're on.”

Moreover, he added, “You can issue a public apology and I'll accept it in advance,” saying,  “If not, then I'll have more things to say about you. So we'll leave it there. I love Love is Blind by the way. I've seen almost every season.”

Co-host Landon Donovan was not shy, he stated, “He's trying to hit on this girl and pick up this girl by saying Tim Howard's a weirdo — what an idiot!”

Derailed dreams Henderson also said injuries ruined his MLS ambitions following the SuperDraft in 2017, which he referred to as “the worst day of my life.”
