Winona Ryder, following the end of Stranger Things, made a quick comeback on TV screens with a guest role in Wednesday series.

The Little Women star has previously worked with Tim Burton in four hit feature films and with Jenna Ortega in 2024’s Beatlejuice, Beatlejuice.

As per Variety, Ryder is gearing up to collaborate again with Burton and Ortega in a new role in the upcoming season 3 of Wednesday.

The director and executive producer of the show, Burton, said in a statement, "I am so happy that Winona has joined us, she fits right into this world."

He further said that the Edward Scissorhands actress is a dear friend of his and he is always lucky to work with her.

Meanwhile, Wednesday creators and showrunners Al Gough and Miles Millar, who had also written script for Beatlejuice, Beatlejuice claimed the Golden Globe winner as the "GOAT."

"Her legendary partnership with Tim Burton has defined some of cinema’s most unforgettable characters." they said.

In addition to Ryder, Eva Green is from the latest cast member announced for season 3. She will play Ophelia, Morticia Addams' sister.

Wednesday is based on the character Wednesday Addams, originally created by cartoonist Charles Addam for his The Addams Family comic strip.

While the streaming platform Netflix has yet to announce its release date, the show is expected to release in 2027.
