Hailee Steinfeld’s heartwarming countdown to becoming a mum

Hailee Steinfeld is getting ready for motherhood, and by the sound of it, she’s embracing every emotional twist along the way. 

The 29-year-old actress, who is expecting her first child with NFL star husband Josh Allen this December, has been sharing candid glimpses of her pregnancy journey.

In her latest Beau Society newsletter, she described a quiet moment on the couch when reality truly hit that their little family is about to grow. 

“I have all the to-do lists, research, and life reorganisation that comes with having a baby,” she admitted, showing off the meticulous side of her “nesting phase.”

For those unfamiliar, the Hawkeye star married the Buffalo Bills quarterback in a dreamy garden ceremony at the luxurious San Ysidro ranch in Montecito, California, last May, after he popped the question on a Malibu clifftop in November 2024. 

But for Hailee, it’s the inner journey that has been most meaningful. 

She’s been having daily conversations with herself, daydreaming about life as a trio, and reflecting on the kind of mum she hopes to be.

Unsurprisingly, the nursery has been a labour of love. 

Sinners actress confessed that choosing even a rocking chair has been an emotional rollercoaster, but seeing the space slowly come together has made their upcoming life feel tangible.

She also credited her support network, from helpful texts and advice to a beautiful baby shower thrown by her mum, for helping her feel “more prepared for a newborn.” 

Hailee says it’s a surreal feeling to anticipate meeting someone they already love so deeply, admitting she hasn’t quite found words to describe it yet but she’s soaking in every moment.
