The 33-year-old singer turned to her Instagram to pen down a heartfelt note for the winner, comparing herself to the champion.
On her social media update, the People You Know hitmaker noted: “Congratulations @alysaxliu A (She's just like me fr).”
The singer reacted to Alysa’s shocking move as she looked for Selena’s Rare Beauty lipstick before stepping on the podium to receive her honour.
It appears the Calm Down crooner also re-apply her lipstick before being photographed.
The official account of the beauty brand shared the moment on their story update with text written on it: “WHERE'S MY LIPSTICK?”
The figure skate went viral after her victory as she smiled throughout the event, winning hearts.
This came after the singer and her husband Benny Blanco celebrated their first Valentine’s Day as a married couple.
