Quinton Aaron, who is known well for the portrayal of Michael Oher in The Blind Side demonstrated strength and resilience weeks after he had a rare spinal stroke.

The 41-year-old star is still in the hospital, however, now is awake, interacting with the family members and pal.

In an exclusive interview with the People’s Magazine Aaron told, "I went through a lot, but I'm focusing on God, my recovery, my family and close friends as well as my career."

The earlier reports indicated that he was in very serious condition, however, his family is reporting that he is awake, fully alert and is communicating with his family and any visitor he has approved.

Moreover, they stated that the One Tree Hill star is feeling strong and empowered, could FaceTime and text close friends, and even writes and does puzzles as part of his recovery.

Positively, Aaron is experiencing the sensation of his legs again. His family revealed that he is looking forward to the future prospects life has in store to him.

His brother Jarred notably were even closer in this hard trying period, as a recently posted picture showed him together.

The Cleveland Clinic claims that the occurrence of spinal strokes is extremely low 1 in 1000 strokes, and may be fatal.

The hospitalization of Aaron occurred almost a year after he fought off flu and pneumonia in 2025. 

Previously, he also suffered a severe upper respiratory infection back in 2019, according TMZ reports.
