Christy Carlson Romano shares serious health update citing family history

Christy Carlson Romano disclosed her worrisome health update due to genetic predisposition.

The 41-year-old took to her official Instagram and posted a video to reveal her heartbreaking screening result on February 17.

The former Even Stevens star said that she and her partner took test for potential cancer diagnosis as of strong family history.

She went on to disclose her results, “My husband's came back completely negative. Mine did not come back negative.”

Romano went to mark that this does not mean she has been diagnosed with cancer, further she will undergo a PET scan.

The Even Steven star was visibly shaken as felt “nervous and a bit scared.”

Romano shares two young daughters with husband Brendan Rooney, Isabella, 9, and Sofia, 7.

She went on to state, "It's time to have a strong sense of faith and know that it's in God's hands, most of it.”

However, this marks her in the concern for her daughters as her parents had cancer, her father and maternal Grandmother even died of cancer.

In a supportive comment, Rooney added, "You got this my beautiful wife. We will figure this out and destroy any problem that comes your way. I love you beyond words."

On February 18, the Legendary crooner celebrated the seventh birthday of her second daughter Sofia.
