Jaden Smith revealed his long-term goal of feeding the homeless and needy on the Los Angeles' Skid Row.
This particular dream of Jaden began when he first starred in Pursuit of Happyness along with his father, Will Smith, and later, on his 2019 album ERYS became catalyst of finally introducing his work to the world.
In an interview with Hyperbeast, The Karate Kid star shared, that when he was working on ERYS, for his music videos he used the street as his back drop.
Similarly, in Pursuit of Happyness, the homeless people were hired to be extras in the films to make the film more realistic.
Hence the early experience of the film and then his time working on album made him want to give it back to those people.
The Icon hitmaker's vegan restaurant I Love You starred as a food truck in 2019.
The non-profit serves free vegan meals, as Jaden "believes everyone deserves access to the healthiest food options, no matter their financial situations," per the brand's website.
In a video posted on TikTok on Valentine's Day, the After Earth actor said, "Honestly, my dream in life is to have a building on Skid Row where I can give out free meals every single day: breakfast, lunch, dinner."
He added, "I can do things inside of it. I can create jobs and a good vibe. That’s my dream. That's my long-term goal."
The 27-year-old artists went on to urge people to support and help him in achieving his "real golden dream."
He said he currently doesn’t have a permanent restaurant location. However, Jaden hopes to one day open a headquarters serving three meals a day, and eventually expand nationwide and globally.
