Daniel Radcliffe rather than protecting his past, made a bold statement on his portrayal of Harry in the successful film franchise based on J.K. Rowling's novels.

The Jungle star has stated publicly that he believes that Dominic McLaughlin will be a better actor as Harry Potter in their future HBO show.

For the unversed, Dominic McLaughlin is a Scottish, 11, child actor selected from 32000 auditions to play Harry Potter in upcoming TV adaptation.

While conversing with ScreenRant, he stated, "I'm sure Dominic is going to be better than me."

Adding, "I learned as I went. I look back on what I did now with a lot more kindness, and I find it less interesting now that I'm older."

The 36-year-old acknowledged that at the age of 11 he did not know all about the wizarding world.

He went on to mark, "When these kids got cast, there's a whole thing around the internet, around the world, people being like, 'We've got to look after these kids.'"

But even more than applause Radcliffe had a request of his heart, "'If you mean that if everyone really means what they are saying, then one of the things you can do for me."

He urged fans and reporters to cease their incessant comparisons of the new cast with the first three of the cast.

This included him, Emma Watson and Rupert Grint, by stating that he does not wish to become a figure that could spoil their experience.

Radcliffe confessed while recounting his age at the time today makes him think that he was really young when fame struck.

The outlook has made him even more appreciation to his parents whom he attributes the role of taking him through the stresses of being a global star.
