Pop queen Taylor Swift is swapping stadium lights for ice rinks as she throws her glittering support behind Team USA’s fiercest figure skating trio.

On Monday, the U.S. Figure Skating Olympic team unveiled their dazzling new nickname, the Blade Angels, in a dramatic Instagram video narrated by none other than the 36-year-old superstar herself.

Silhouettes of Amber Glenn, Alysa Liu and Isabeau Levito flash across the screen as Swift purrs: “Ladies and gentlemen, I’d like to introduce you to Amber, Alysa and Isabeau.”

Calling them “three American showgirls on ice”, a cheeky wink to her latest album, The Life of a Showgirl, Taylor promises their journeys will “capture your heart”.

She praises 26-year-old Glenn’s grit after a “long, very difficult road” to the Games.

The Opalite singer also hails Liu, 20, for walking away from the sport after the 2022 Winter Olympics only to return stronger, and dubs 16-year-old Levito “destiny personified”, noting her family ties to Milan.

The Blade Angels will take centre stage at the 2026 Winter Olympics, competing in the Women’s Short Program on Tuesday before the Free Skate later this week.
