Kelvin Tavaziva has spoken of the moment he feared he would die after machete-wielding raiders stormed his home in Melbourne.

The 28-year-old YouTuber was filming a new video when armed intruders allegedly burst into his bedroom.

According to 9 News, one with a knife on his hip and another brandishing a machete.

Kelvin, his younger brother and two friends were reportedly held at knifepoint as up to five offenders searched the property for valuables.

Cameras and recording kit worth thousands, along with a laptop, phone and even his Hyundai car, were taken in the terrifying raid.

“Is this the end of me? Is this how my life ends?” Kelvin recalled thinking as the ordeal unfolded.

The gang allegedly warned they would return and harm him if he contacted police.

Shaken and fearing for his life, the content creator fled to stay with a friend before eventually going to the authorities.

Police have since launched an investigation, including whether he was specifically targeted for his expensive equipment.

Now homeless and without the tools he relied on for work, Kelvin has turned to the public for help.

More than £7,000 has been raised through a GoFundMe page to help him secure a new place to live and replace his stolen gear.

“I’ve lost basically everything… I’m just alive,” he said in an emotional video. “That’s what really matters.”
