Amy Madigan candidly highlighted the deep bond she shares with her husband, Ed Harris.

The 75-year-old American actress secured her first Oscar nomination for the portrayal of the villainous Aunt Gladys in 2025.

Harris, 75, beamed with pride as his wife hit a major milestone for the 2026 Academy Award.

Further, the mystery horror film Weapons also made her the winner of the Critics' Choice Award and also scored SAG and Golden Globe nominations.

During her recent chat with PEOPLE magazine at the Santa Barbara International Film Festival Virtuosos Awards on February 8, she spoke regarding her "thrilled and happy" career commendations.

She shared, "As is my daughter, Lily Harris, who's also an actress. I've had a lot of support, and my really good friends are just on my side, so it's been really nice."

Moreover, the Streets of Fire star mentioned her performance in Weapons garnered her new projects, "I'm talking to a few more people, which is very nice.”

Earlier, at the 2026 Sundance Film Festival last month, the American actor and filmmaker proudly punched, "I'm the husband of an Oscar nominee. I'm very proud of her.”

"I think she blew everybody's mind with Gladys," Harris gushed over Madigan’s performance in Weapons.

The duo had been married since November 1983 after they met in 1980 for a Cowboy Mouth stage performance in Las Vegas.
