Brooklyn Beckham has hit “unfollow” on Gordon Ramsay’s Instagram, after the chef’s public comments about his strained relationship with parents Victoria and David Beckham.
The 59-year-old TV star had urged Brooklyn to “remember where he came from,” suggesting his intense focus on wife Nicola Peltz might be influencing his decision to step back from his family.
Despite the social media cold shoulder, Gordon says there’s no falling out between them.
A friend close to the Beckhams told The Sun: “Brooklyn and Nicola clearly aren’t fans of criticism.
They don’t want any negativity, only praise. Maybe they don’t enjoy hearing truths about themselves.”
Ramsay admitted he understands the 26-year-old chef’s desire to forge his own path but offered a gentle warning.
“Someday your parents won’t be there, and you’ll see what they mean to you.”
He also praised the Beckhams’ parenting, saying they’ve consistently supported the aspiring chef through tricky situations.
The chef, whose son Jack grew up alongside Brooklyn, added: “Brooklyn has an amazing heart. Love can make you blind, and it’s easy to get carried away. But eventually, reality hits.”
Ramsay also dismissed claims that Victoria overstepped at Brooklyn’s wedding, insisting everyone was simply enjoying themselves on the dance floor.
