Callum Turner has been eyed as one of the actors that could be cast in the coveted 007 role, with many even placing their bets on him.

The English actor had not commented on the buzz yet, and the 26th film in the franchise has also not received a casting update as of yet.

Meanwhile interviewers at the Berlin Film Festival, which the Eternity actor attended to promote his new film Rosebush Pruning immediately got to the point and asked him about the rumours.

A journalist acknowledged that it would be good to get the question out of the way in the very beginning, to which Turner agreed.

“You’re right, it’s very early for that question,” he said with a slight smirk. “I’m not going to comment on it.”

Soon after, his Rosebush Pruning co-star, Tracy Letts intervened to claim “I’m sorry, I’m the next James Bond!” making the room laugh, with Turner adding that he thought Letts wouldn’t say anything.

Notably, other actors that have been linked to the role are Tom Hardy, Tom Holland, Harris Dickinson and even Jacob Elordi.
