Harry Styles opened up about the time he spent in Italy during his two-year hiatus following the 2023's Love on Tour in support of Harry’s House.
The As it Was singer largely stayed out of spotlight for that time period, occasionally appearing around the world, participating in marathons and spending most of his time in Rome.
In an interview with the Sunday Times Magazine, Styles shared details of his time in Italy and how Romans taught him the importance of slowing down.
He said, "Italy became so important to me because I was so used to everything moving so quickly and being on the go."
However, during his time there, the Sign of the Times singer was able to just sit and have coffee in peace.
The Grammy winner added that due to such reason he "realized the pleasure in just being in the moment of what you’re doing."
Praising the Italians, the One Direction former singer continued, "The pace they’ve taught me has been so special."
During his time in Rome, Styles was also spotted during the ceremony of new Pope, Leo XIV.
Previously in an interview with the BBC Radio 1, he revealed that he was having a haircut when people in the neighbourhood started shouting "'Habemus papam!'" even his barber also stopped cutting his hair began repeating the phrase.
Being in a close vicinity the Matilda singer decided to experience the occasion. "It was wild," he said.
Styles is back in the limelight with this fourth studio album, Kiss All the Time. Disco, Occasionally.
Its single, Aperture, was released on January 22, meanwhile album is set to drop on March 6.
