Harry Styles makes surprising confession about One Direction split

Harry Styles has made a candid confession about his experience with the famous boy band One Direction’s 2015 split.

The Late Night Talking singer was a part of the group along with Niall Horan, Zayn Malik, Louis Tomlinson and Liam Payne, and it turns out that the parting had a serious effect on him.

In an interview with Harry Lambert, his friend and stylist, published by The Sunday Times Magazine the Aperture singer dove deeper into his career and life’s trajectory, with a glance back at his departure from the pop gang.

"When you’re in a band with four other people, there’s so much room to hide. There’s only ever so much weight that’s on your shoulders. The first couple of times on stage [without One Direction], I’d think, 'What do I do with my hands?' " Harry stated.

He continued, "But I also felt very alone all of a sudden, I was lucky to have the opportunity where people were interested in what I was going to make, but I put a lot of that pressure on myself, wanting it to be correct."

The three-time Grammy winner explained that with his debut self-titled solo album in 2017, he was afraid of disappointing people and felt somewhat pressured since he didn’t have other people to divide the public’s expectations with.
